Access Control and Video Intercom, Tied to Your Cameras
When a door is propped open at 2 a.m. or a badge is used after someone quit, you want to see the video for that moment without scrubbing through hours of footage. We install door readers and video intercoms on the same network as your cameras and link them, so each door event comes with the clip that shows it.

Quick answer
How does access control work with security cameras?
Door readers and video intercoms are installed on the same network as the cameras and linked to them, so each door event, such as a propped door or an after-hours badge, comes with the video clip that shows it. Approved staff can see, talk to and unlock the door for visitors from a phone. Intruder alarm panels are not part of this service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers for commercial buyers.
Can access control work with the cameras we already have?
Often, yes. Many access platforms connect to common NVR and video management brands. We check your current recorder and cameras first and tell you whether linking them is possible or whether a recorder change makes more sense. Can we unlock the door from a phone?
Yes. Video intercoms and most current access platforms let approved staff see the visitor, talk to them and unlock the door from a phone app or a desk station. What happens to the doors if the power goes out?
Each door is set to fail safe (unlocks) or fail secure (stays locked) based on building and fire code requirements for that door. Controllers and locks can run on battery backup so the system keeps working through short outages.Do you install intruder alarm panels too?
No. This service covers door access, intercoms and cameras. If you have an alarm company, we coordinate wiring and network with them.Is this for homes as well?
No. We install access control and intercoms for businesses only: offices, clinics, warehouses, yards and commercial buildings.
