We install commercial-grade IP cameras that are visible (deterrent value) but discreet — usually small turret or low-profile dome cameras that blend into the ceiling. Hidden / pinhole cameras have legal restrictions and we don't generally recommend them.

Can we record audio in the office?

Audio recording in office spaces has legal restrictions in Idaho and federally. We generally configure cameras for video-only by default and discuss audio separately if your use case requires it.

What about cameras inside private offices?

We install cameras in shared / common areas, hallways, lobbies, server rooms, and exterior. Cameras inside private individual offices are unusual and we walk through the legal and HR considerations with you before installing.

Will the system integrate with our IT network?

Yes — cameras run on a dedicated VLAN or sub-network so they don't share traffic with your office workstations. We coordinate with your IT team or MSP on switch configuration and IP scheme.

Can multiple managers view the cameras?

Yes. We set up per-user logins for the mobile app — owner, office manager, IT lead — with appropriate permissions. Audit logging is available on commercial NVRs.

In a multi-tenant building, who owns the camera system — landlord or tenant?

Whoever pays for it. For tenant-funded systems, you own the cameras, NVR, and footage; we install on tenant low-voltage and document everything to your name. For landlord / property-manager systems covering common areas, the building owns it. We coordinate with property management when low-voltage paths cross common-area ceilings or risers.
